Safari

Three modules. One login screen.

Everyone opens the same link and types a short code. Judges get a judging screen, dancers get their own number, the emcee gets the queue. Nobody installs anything.

⚔️ Battles
BMS
Battle Management System — prelims scored 1–20, then knockout brackets. Judges still raise their hand on the floor; the phone only confirms it.
  • Batches of ten, called live by the emcee
  • Top-vs-bottom seeding, 3-way pools handled
  • A tied vote calls its own rematch
  • Champion reveal on every screen at once
🏆 Competitions
CMS
Competition Management System — multi-round, multi-category showcases. Judges score against criteria you write, and the leaderboard does every sum.
  • Your criteria, locked after the first score
  • Multi-judge averaging, ties resolved in the cutoff
  • Advance or eliminate per round, per category
  • You choose when the board goes public
📋 Workshops
WMS
Workshop Management System — camps and workshop weekends. Registrations, class rosters, payments and certificates in the same place as the door list.
  • A roster per class, not one long list
  • Import the registration sheet you already have
  • Certificate designer with your own artwork
  • Payment status without opening a spreadsheet
Live Dashboards

See exactly what each role sees.

These are the real screens, not a dressed-up mockup. Judges can't see other judges' scores, participants only see their own — that boundary is why people trust the result.

How It Works

From setup to champion — 5 steps.

Our team is live in the backend while your event runs. You never touch a settings screen.

1
DanBuzz sets up your event
Share your event details with us on WhatsApp. We create the event and send back all the role codes — no technical setup on your end.
2
Distribute the codes
Judge codes → judges. Attendee code → emcee and dancers. Everyone opens the same link and enters their code. No app download. Works on any phone browser.
3
Register, check in & call batches
Add dancers as they arrive. The emcee calls batches of ten and a "Now Performing" banner hits every screen instantly — so nobody misses their turn because they stepped outside.
4
Prelims & knockouts — judges score live
Judges score via slider in prelims; in knockouts they raise their hand on the floor as always, then tap to confirm. Tied votes auto-trigger a rematch. The leaderboard updates in real time — no manual tallying.
5
🏆 Champion auto-reveal
When the final is done, the champion and runner-up appear on every screen simultaneously — no trigger needed. Export the full event data as .xlsx in one click.

Pricing

One-time fee per event. No subscriptions.

Pay per module, per event. Each module is billed on its own — a battle and a competition on the same day, both on X, is ₹1,999 + ₹1,999. These prices assume your tickets are sold on danbuzz.com.

How it normally works
Safari with ticketing on danbuzz.com
Your event is listed with us and tickets are sold through the platform.
  • BMS and CMS at the prices above
  • WMS included free — no separate charge for workshops
  • The 5–7% platform fee is paid by ticket buyers, not by you
On request only
Safari on its own, without our ticketing
You sell tickets yourself and use Safari only to run the day. This is not our standard setup — talk to us before you plan around it.
  • + ₹2,000 added once per event, whatever modules you run
  • + WMS is then charged at ₹999 / ₹1,999 / ₹3,999 by tier
  • + No platform fee, because there are no tickets to add it to

💳 The 5–7% platform fee is charged to ticket buyers at checkout on danbuzz.com — never to you. The module fees above are separate, and one-time.

SMS

Studio Management System

Most studios run on a WhatsApp group, a notebook and a memory that's getting full. SMS puts batches, attendance and fees in one register — so the admin stops following you home.

🗂️ Batches
Rosters that hold
Each batch keeps its own timing, level, instructor and student list. Move somebody between batches and nothing else needs rewriting.
  • Timings and levels per batch
  • Instructor assigned to each one
  • Fill rate visible at a glance
✅ Attendance
Marked in ten seconds
Open the batch, tap who showed up. The month builds itself — so you can spot somebody drifting weeks before they quietly stop coming.
  • Tap a name, that's the whole flow
  • Month-by-month register per student
  • Retention trend without a spreadsheet
💰 Fees
Without the awkward part
Who's paid, who's overdue and by how long. Send reminders from here, so you never scroll back through a chat to check before asking.
  • Collected and overdue, always current
  • Reminders sent in one tap
  • BuzzPass credits accepted at the door
Live Dashboards

Same rule as the event side — instructors see their batch, you see the money. Nobody sees a screen that isn't theirs.

BuzzPass

Students arrive with
the money already sorted.

BuzzPass is the dance community's credit wallet. Dancers buy credits once and spend them across partner studios, events and workshops. When your studio accepts it, that spending has somewhere to land — and the awkward doorway conversation stops happening.

👥
Faces you'd never have met
Dancers browsing danbuzz.com for somewhere to train see partner studios first. A pass they already hold is the smallest possible reason to try one class.
Nothing to collect at the door
No cash box, no screenshot to verify, no "I'll bring it next week". Credits move on check-in and the register updates itself.
📈
Drop-ins stop being invisible
Every credit check-in is a row in SMS, so the person who turns up twice a month finally appears in your numbers instead of your memory.

FAQ

Common Questions

Do participants need to download an app?
No. Everything runs on a web link. Dancers, judges, the emcee, viewers and your instructors all open the same link in a phone browser and enter a short code. No installation required on iOS or Android.
Does DanBuzz change how judging works on the floor?
No. Judges still raise their hand on the floor as usual, and the energy is still real. DanBuzz only comes in after the hand goes up — judges tap to confirm the winner on their phone, and the result hits every screen instantly. Ties automatically trigger a rematch round.
Can I buy just one module?
Yes. BMS and CMS are billed separately, per event — if you only run battles, you pay for BMS alone. WMS is the exception: when your tickets are sold on danbuzz.com it is included at no extra charge, so a workshop weekend costs you nothing on top.
Who pays the 5–7% platform fee?
The ticket buyer. The 5–7% platform fee is added on top of your ticket price at checkout on danbuzz.com — it is never deducted from your payout. You receive exactly the price you set.
What's the difference between Safari and SMS?
Safari — BMS, CMS and WMS — runs a single event on the day it happens, billed per event. SMS runs a studio month after month: batches, attendance, fees and BuzzPass at the door. Studios that also host battles usually end up using both.
Is the free SMS tier really free?
Yes — one location, up to 30 active students and 3 batches, with no expiry date. You move to Pro when the studio has genuinely outgrown it, not when a trial runs out.
What if something breaks mid-event?
You message us and we handle it. Our team is live in the backend while your event runs — that's included on every tier, and it's why you never need to understand the settings.
Can I use Safari without selling tickets through DanBuzz?
It is possible, but it is not how we normally work — the prices on this page assume your tickets are sold on danbuzz.com. If you want to keep your own ticketing and use Safari only to run the day, add ₹2,000 once per event on top of the module prices, whatever modules you run. WMS also stops being free in that case and is charged at ₹999 / ₹1,999 / ₹3,999 by tier. Message us before you plan around it.

Ready to run it the right way?

Chat with us on WhatsApp — we'll set everything up for you. No technical knowledge required.
